Mathematics: Line Graphs Graphing for today works much like a dot-to-dot. Check out the weather graph exercise in Seesaw.
Reading & Writing Continue to read something of your choice for twenty to thirty minutes each day. If you have a meeting booked, I'd like you to read something to me either from Raz-Kids, Epic! Books or something of your own. I've also assigned some sentence exercises in IXL.
Outdoor Time: Green Colour Walk I went out for a run on Tuesday and was impressed how absolutely green everything appears from our recent rains. Today's colour walk should include ten green images and I'd really like to see an emphasis on the nature featured in your local neighbourhood. I took the image below near Alice Lake (back in the days when it was open). By the way, I saw some great red images yesterday.
Last Chance
If you look through the activities listing in Seesaw, you'll notice that older activities don't last forever. After a few days, I remove them so they don't clutter up the activity board. Reading/Art: Race the Wild I've finished reading Race the Wild. You can catchup with the story on the right hand column of this page. I'd like to see a cover design, featuring the setting of the book.
Math: IXL Thank you to the students who added the information to the 'Favourite Pets' graph. This activity is still available. I've added some bar graph exercises to IXL Math.
Colour Walk: Red Theme
Talk some time going for a walk outside. With a camera (you could also draw), find ten different red things that you see and add them to an album on Seesaw.
